hello friends, hope you all doing well,i have a question that bothers me and it is on the forms i filled,am the beneficiary, where i had to put my dads name i did shorten his name cos his name is too long,so just put in his first name and his surname cos the space for the name was too small,so just want to know if it will create a problem.

thanks

If you run out of room you attach sheets to add the missing information. So if you have no room for his full name you should enter see addemdum sheet X and then on that sheet type the entry number and the full data.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

To clarify, how did you shorten his name?

For example if his name was Johnathan James Smith, did you but Johnathan Smith? If so, I think you'll be ok. But if you put John Smith, it may be an issue.

i have already submitted the 129F forms already and have had the approval, might go to the embassy on Wednesday,to take my packet.would that be a problem during interview?

My mom has 3 last names (as weird as it sounds it is like this: Paternal - Maternal - Married) his maternal last name is a compound one (a common one here in LatinAmerica) but I just her paternal... and haven't any kind of trouble

Dude, Check your timeline.I think you made a mistake wih the dates .If you sent your paperwork in October you most likely woud have received your NOA1 last October.IT takes about 5 months to get your NOA2 but your timeline says i took 16 days which is impossible.Fix it if you get a chance so that anyone following your timeine can get an accurate picture of how long it could take.
