What to do after sending DS-3032 and AOS payment?

Hello everyone,

I've recently paid my affidavit of Support (AOS) fee, online. I also Sent my DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) application to NVC.

What is my next step now? I read that i have to pay the IV Fee but i don't know what that is?

can anyone explain to me what is to be done now, and what is the IV fee?

The IV stands for Immigrant Visa it's $404 i think. you should join the trend called "Nvc March 2012" alot of ppl there are at the same point you are. Im still waiting for my case number so i can't tel you much. you also will be able to garther infor from there time line in their signature.

Once the AOS fee appears as PAID on the payment portal, you can send in the AOS package.

Once the DS-3032 is accepted, the IV fee will be invoiced. This fee is associated with the DS-230, currently $404. Once you pay that and it appears as PAID in the payment portal, you can send in the IV package.

Then, you wait for your case to be complete, sending in checklist responses if necessary.

This is as good a time as any to get the message you are not on a K3 visa path. It would be CR1 or IR1.

but the thing is, i never got anything that tells me to send an AOS package, and i didn't get it in the mail either. What i got was the case number and invoice ID emailed to me, after that i paid the AOS fee ($88). So how can i send the AOS package? should i expect it to be mailed or download the forms online??

You follow the guides and put together the AOS package yourself. You don't need to wait for NVC to send you something. I NEVER received the AOS instructions email from NVC.

You can...depending on the country of the benefeciary...

Most countries can't, but there are a few exeptions. See the immigration visa site for more info.

That's why I asked the OP what country the beneficiary is to make sure they're allowed.
