When my fiancee sent in our I-129F petiotion he forgot to check the NO box for question part-C no.2

Now,our question is will we receive an RFE or will USCIS rely on the criminal background checks that they will conduct on both of us for an answer that question?

Anyone can answer for my question?

Thank you in advance.

I think I did too lol but somewhere in the RFE thread this OP mention that somehow he forgot to check that box (NO) too. At that time he was thinking he was going to received RFE. But I check his timeline. He never did. It’s been 6yrs ago that happen (2006) so not sure how strict they are now lol

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

Yeah you will get and RFE. I somehow missed that question and received the RFE. Cost me and my fiancee another 67 days. They will send that question to you so just check the NO box and send it back in. Good luck with your journey and godspeed to you and yours :D

Did you make a paper copy of what you sent or do you just have the PDF file?

I had a different box not marked. I have documentation of it being marked correctly on an early draft but on the final one that was printed, signed and sent it was empty.

I assumed it was something I had done but maybe there really is a problem with the form. I have been told that sometimes check boxes on the I-129f will just blank out.
