7/11/2016: Received NOA1 dated 7/5/2016

11/3/2016: Received email from USCIS-Seoul Office with Naturalization appt set for 11/30/2016

11/30/2016: Naturalization Interview on Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. N-400 Approved

12/1/2016: Naturalization Ceremony

Happy women's day to all the women of VJ and wives of VJ members!

The hardest thing for me today is: every time when a guy says "Happy women's day!" to me, not to say "Thanks, you too" back :lol:

Flowers AND a card.( but I had to leave little notes in my wallet and car to remind me because this is not something I have a tendency to remember). Yeeesh.

Yeah, I thought flowers on the way home would be OK on Valentines day. Wrong!!! :bonk: She thought I had forgotten and was on my case at noon. When I brought home a bouquet of 11 red roses at 5 PM she was sure it was only because she had complained earlier! :(

Now I know I must call a day or two ahead and order them to be delivered in the AM! Today went much better! :yes:

Wow, my husband brought me flowers yesterday, even though I never even told him that International Women's Day was big in Russia :)

He won't tell how he found out about it, but I guess the guy at his work, who dates a woman from Ukraine told him :)

My wife specifically doesn't want cut flowers; she'd rather buy perennials for the garden.

She did receive the new flash unit for the new digital camera she received on Monday......and this weekend we will take receipt of the travel trailer we purchased to further our summer camping programs !!!

  • 02-14-2012: Interview PASSED! :D K-1 Visa Approved! :D
  • 03-08-2012: POE
  • 04-07-2012: Wedding!

AOS/EAD Timeline (04.26.2012 - 12.13.2012)

  • 04-26-2012: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago Lockbox
  • 05-02-2012: NOA1 (both I-485 and I-765)
  • 05-23-2012: Biometrics taken
  • 07-02-2012: Employment Authorization Issued (07-09-2012 - received in the mail)
  • 12-03-2012: Made Service Request for I-485, because case is beyond processing time
