HI everybody, OK so today me n my husband confirmed that the Adjustment of status package we mailed to the USCIS was received....however, i keep thinking if i sent it in too late...the reason for that is...i entered the US about 3 months ago on a k1 visa and got married to my husband right away. Are we supposed to file for AOS within the 90 days too because on feb 06 2012 which is 10 days from now my 90 day time period would be over....i want to know did i send my package within the acceptable time period or not? and what would be my status after feb 06 2012, which marks the 90 day limit... n when can i expect to hear anything from USCIS? please reply...thanks

No. There is no time limit as to when you have to file for AOS. You just had to get married within 90 days and that's it. No worries.

Although out of status aliens are not eligible to adjust status, this does not apply to immediate relatives of US citizens. You fall within this category. As long as you complied with the 90-day rule, you're good. No worries.
