Next week Sabi. I don't think they'll be breaking into our petitions until then. It appears that the CSR reports were pretty accurate. In general, adjudications were concentrated between 1/09-1/13. I do expect quite a few of us to be pushed into early / mid July now...not fun at all. But there's nothing we can do...We basically filed at the absolute worst possible time this year...I'm going to see if my attorney has received any more approvals from VSC that are after these dates. Of course we've had some approvals here after these dates. but in general, there's been little consistency. CSC has blown us away....blah. I haven't had time to go through any numbers yet. Seen anything Sabi?

next week is fine with me as long as it happens before July... at this stage September moving doesn't look so good so we really need to hear something next week, it's our last chance. If not, then we are another month behind :(

Yes. It's been very hard. I'm fortunate that Kiev is fast with scheduling interviews and with an approval in the next 2 weeks I can probably still make August...just barely...it'll even be a stretch for me too now though. I'm figuring mid to late August POE as long as they don't really really let us down...But I can't see how this can persist much longer. The number of petitions that are building up has to be absolutely staggering. I'm trying to control the worst of my disappointment until after I hit the 160 day mark. The approvals we've seen thus far seem to be around this amount of time after NOA1. I won't torment myself with the receipt date anymore. aha. but hopefully this is all behind us soon.

well after that it's all in NVC's hands unfortunately... I am just being realistic that I will need 2 months between NOA2 and my interview...everything now seems to be a roulette! I am just really tired, all I dream of is going to sleep without stressing and thinking what tomorrow brings for me- a big disappointment! My friends keep asking me about when and what is happening and I just really don't feel like talking about it to them 10 thousand times and them keep asking me over and over again the same question... It's unbelievable how simple process and the petition that is adjudicated in 20 min time changes and turns our lives up side down!

Definitely! People whining about how long they have to wait and they are just at the beginning or February/March filers is just making me mad!Or them saying it is so unfair! Unfair is that we are over processing time now and no one cares!

It's baffling how they made so little progress for the month of January. It literally required 1.5 months to adjudicate less than 2 weeks worth of January petitions..makes no sense at all.

Yes. It's an embarassing situation for everyone. If processing time is not 5 months, then don't list 5 months on the website. CSC doesn't seem to be struggling much with completing the adjudications. Please let this be over with next week...

I've considered it. I think I will give them until the end of next week before doing it. Wednesday will mark my 160 days. So I guess an approval by the end of next week wouldn't be too awful. It's better than 170 or 180 days right? But I have my concerns for that even happening. And then the next week is 4th of July...On a Wednesday....

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to do at this point. I've got so many other not-so-good things going on that impact this process and I'm just trying to keep things straight and hope that on the back end it will go quickly. Unfortunately (or fortunately), there isn't a lot of people going through the Embassy in Kuwait so I don't have a lot of references to know how fast it will go. :unsure:

++++

btw, I do like your signature change, I wish I would have thought of that!

My petition was recived at the CSC on 1/10/12 and touched on 1/13/12. Stilll says intial review. I called the NSC and put in a service request. I was told I should receive a response in 15 days. Has anybody else done this? What was the result? I don't want to piss off any government worker but, I'm now 162 days out and I'm dying to bring my fiance home with me. I see ather filers at the CSC in my time frame have already gotten their NOA2 and some even approved!! Help!!
