Why was the Tourist Visa denied?

TIM/MAV K1-JOURNEY
3/27/2007....We first met on myspace
1/30/10 ......My Honey proposed
8/15/10 ......He visit Philippines(2wks) & met my family
12/17/10 ....USCIS received the Filed I-129F for K1-visa
12/21/10 ....Received hard copy,NOA1
5/25/11.......Received RFE
6/09/11.......NOA2 approved
12/07/11.....Visa fee paid at BPI
6/11/13.......2nd visa fee payment
7/10-11/13.. Medical Exam completed@St.Lukes Clinic
1/15-16/14.. 2nd Medical exam updated
1/21/14...... k1 interview-Visa Approved

8/29/14...... Submitted AOS application
10/03/14.....Biometrics
01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

04/20/15......AOS Interview - Approved :star:

Depends on why you were denied.

If you were denied just because you couldn't prove enough ties to your home country that's fine. If you were denied because you're a criminal, or into drugs, or because you lied and stuff like that then yes it could be a problem.

Tourist visa denials are quite common and do not typically affect the immigration visa process.

I would say thats alittle bit early to say and waiting for a response from the OP if wished to disclose the reason(s). I would be very cautious about one Visa denied and trying for another until the facts are in.

Hello Everyone!

Im applying to the fiance visa, im from Brazil.

3 months a go, i had my Tourism Visa denied,

so i wanna know if this will disturb or make me any problems to get my fiance visa!

If the denial was due to the typical reason of lack of ability to show strong ties to your country you will have no problem with the other visa.

Hopefully you will also realise you need to provide some facts & details in your questions or suffer from bad info as a result.

Hey Everyone,

It was denied because they said i dont have enough proves that i would come back to my country, and they think i could imigrate to USA and do not come back to Brazil. I never done any crimes, drug staff, have no problems with the police.

In that case it should not affect your K-1. Your fine.. Good luck.
