Hey Guys!

I have my interview in a couple of hours, local time is 12:06, interview @ 9:00 in the morning.

I feel ready, confident, and we have our originals and copies for each of our documents,

except for the notice of interview, I have a copy and was faxed to me from the USCIS since USPS returned it as undeliverable, hopefully they let me in with a courtesy copy, which by the way reads "THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENT, ACCEPTANCE OF THIS COURTESY COPY IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE RECEIVING OFFICE."

Not superstitious but need you guys to wish me luck.

almost 3 years married, and 4 YEARS struggling as an "out of status" overstayed J-1, let's see if I get a new beginning.

08/26/2011 - Husband became USC through naturalization

10/12/2011 - We got married!

12/03/2011 - Sent AOS package(I-130, I-485, I-765) to Chicago Lockbox

12/05/2011 - Delivery confirmation via USPS

12/16/2011 - Received emails for I-130, I-485

12/22/2011 - Received NOA in mail for I-130, I-485 dated 12/16/2011

12/23/2011 - Received rejected I-765 due to missing signature

12/24/2011 - Received biometrics appointment on 01/09/2012 dated 12/20/2011

12/27/2011 - Reapplied I-765

12/29/2011 - I-765 has been delivered by USPS confirmation

01/04/2012 - Walk-in biometrics done

01/11/2012 - Received NOA in mail for I-765 dated 12/30/2011

02/01/2012 - Received text/email for I-765, Card/Document Production

02/06/2012 - Received EAD card in mail. YAY!

02/07/2012 - Received text/email for interview date, 03/15/2012

02/08/2012 - Received interview letter in mail

03/15/2012 - Interview at San Antonio, approved on spot and got a stamp!

03/23/2012 - Green card in hand! :^D

I got this letter, marked on the part the reads:

Congratulations! Your I-485 has been recommended for approval....

I was actually crying of joy!

Officer was friendly with not many tricky questions

Me and my wife moved from one state to another

And he ask for proof that we lived and moved to different state together.

Looked through out pictures album.

Our wedding was small with no reception so he asked who were there and we said only her cousing and my friend came to the courthouse.

He also looked into our piles of greeting cards, from each other and to us from others.

Asked for any joint bank account we showed that and also and co payment agreement for medical bills.

Then we were told we have solid evidence which was easy for him to make the decision.

printed me out the interview results and told us we should get it in the mail in a couple of days.

10 years green card!

Cant wait to have it in my hands, now who around vegas wanna have some drinks on me?? :D

Day 1 - 07/11/2012 - Confirmation from FedEx that package arrived and was signed for.

Day 3 - 07/13/2012 - Text confirmation from USCIS of receipt.

Day 4 - 07/14/2012 - Online banking shows that cheques were cashed.

Day 9 - 07/19/2012 - Received 3 out of 3 NOA letters in the post.

Day 11 - 07/21/2012 - Received biometrics appointment letter, appointed set for 08/07/2012.

Day 16 - 07/26/2012 - Completed biometrics walk in.

Day 56 - 09/04/2012 - Received text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 59 - 09/07/2012 - Received 2nd text notification to state that my EAD has been ordered into production.

Day 62 - 09/10/2012 - Text notification that EAD has been mailed.
