Religious differences might slow you down a bit but it is not a definite reason for denial if you are a Christian woman and he is Muslim. Try to keep yourself busy for the next month and just when you are calm it will show up. And pray.

I will pray for you too.

God Bless

So right after he got his citizenship, he left her?

I do not think it should be an issue. Many people do it.

You think this behavior is okay? To stay in a marriage fraudlently and get citizenship and then divorce?

Anyway, OP, we can't know how long it will take. Is your fiance US- born or was he the foreigner in the previous K-1? That is unclear.

I don't think anyone here is Muslim, so I am not sure why it's being brought up. AP happens in other places besides muslim countries.

no one is muslim in this case. i was just saying that putting people in AP because of a muslin bias sucks. my fiance is a naturalize us citizen a christian and i am a christian woman. i just know why i was put in AP this long when the C.O tells me that my file is correct and that she need to check some information. she did not explain it means by that.

Did he naturalize because he used to be married to a US citizen? Was he the one petitioned on the K-1 visa before? You haven't answered that.

It's not bias. It's the reality of the world we currently live in. There are people who belong to groups that profess to be Muslims, and that would love nothing more than to come to the US and wreak havoc on it's citizens. Obviously, they're not representative of the overwhelming majority of Muslims, but they do exist and the US has to be realistic when dealing with them. If there were Buddhist terrorist groups active in my wife's country then AP for security checks would also be common there. As it is, they screen people from her country for ties to the Communist party.

Being a member of either a terrorist organization or the Communist party makes someone inadmissible to the United States. The likelihood of someone belonging to an Islamic terrorist group increases in some Islamic countries, just as the likelihood of someone belonging to the Communist party increases in Communist countries.

I agree, at our interview they asked several times about terrorism and communist party affiliation, all no, but the IO was very serious on these points. It is a fact of life these days, Micky Mouse did not attack the USA. It is unfortunate but life is what it is.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I know many people who have gone through AP and have been waiting for over 2 years, some even closer to 3 years. Don't worry it takes a little longer for them to verify documents. You will soon hear from them. Good luck
