Biometrics appointment

Hi everyone, my husband just got his notice for his Biometrics appointment, and of course, it's on the one day of the week that we don't have childcare for my son. Do you think it would be a huge problem if he brought him to the appointment? If I understand correctly, it's just a quick photo and some fingerprints. We can get a sitter if we absolutely need to since we absolutely don't want to reschedule, but it would be a pain!

Do a walk in at a date that is convenient for you... Bringing kid with him will not be a huge deal either.

We had our biometrics appointment last week and several children were there.

It's no problem. If you are both there you can stay with the child in the waiting area. If he is going alone with the child make sure he brings a stroller or carrier if the child is little.

You could also try a walk-in before the appointment.

I am dealing with the same problem now.How did you solve it?

I have a 4 years old daughter and the office is almost hour and half of drive from my town so I can't risk a walk in and I would have to find someone to watch ehr for at least 4 hours.

I think she would be fine there.Reading a book or something,but what if they will have a problem with it?

There's nothing to solve - you can bring your child to your biometrics appointment.

my son is 19months and we took him to the appointment...and the officers did even raise an eye. And our interview is next week and he is coming with us because we dont have a babysitter.

What else can we do with our children....lock them in the car and crack the window

We took her for our AOS interview and didn't even think about it twice.I think she was/is the biggest proof of our relationship anyway

She's proof your wife had sex. She's not "the biggest" proof of your relationship she's just one part of your relationship. This is a common misconception. Had you just taken the child in you wouldn't have been approved. I'm not trying to be rude just dispelling the myth that having a kid means you'll be approved no problem or that they're a BIG proof of relationship.

Anyway I did AOS 2 years ago,now I am dealing with going from the conditional GC to 10 years GC.

Sure we had all the other documents and proofs

AND I am the wife
