Hi guys,

I am a little confused here. We are filling AOS for my wife (although way past her K-1 expiry date) and each form is asking about her A#. When I did the I-129F I just left it alone or put None for her. But now I am not sure. I have my own A# that I am using in my forms but nothing for her. i did some research online and seems to be getting some confusing inofrmation.

So my question is where is this A#? Was I supposed to fill out something else to get it?

I have looked thru all of the paper work we have and don ot see any A#. Even called the USCIS/ICE without any help. So Can I just leave this thing blank and hope for best?

Someone please clarify this for me.....

It's on the NOA2 above the beneficiaries name. You can find it elsewhere but you can't trust that it's right so trust only the NOA2.

I am in the same boat I am looking for the "A"number A# on our NOA2. The closest thing we got to a NOA2 is a National Visa Center Notice with the "NVC NUMBER" on it. Ours is MNLXXXXXXXXXX. To add to the confusion we have no real number on the I-19 where there is a series of boxes but there is a number printed above it and a word in small letters stating "Admission Nmber". Next piece of confusion is the number on my wifes Visa page in her passport. Right below MY name on HER visa is 9 digit number starting with A....AXXXXXXXXX. Unless I hear otherwise I am putting the MNL number from the Manilla Embassy as the A number. BUMP

FOUND IT. NOA2 is actually I-797C for us. above her name is an A number. AXXX XXX XXX. Yay on to the next piece of this fascinating puzzle. Thanks VisaJourney.

It's the same form number for everyone but NOA2 is the nickname used for the K1 petition approval notice. A copy of the NOA2 is sent with AOS.

I'm glad you found it because the MNL number is her case number for the K1 visa, not her Alien number.
