Hi. I am new here and I thought I can share my experience with you.

I came in September 2011 on a tourist visa to Texas. I did have the intent to return in December, but things turned out even better. We got married ... Yay.

Here's my timeline (and I hope you guys get lucky too!)

09/29/2011 entered on VWP

10/31/2011 got married in Vegas

12/12/2011 filed I-130 / AOS / AP / EAD

12/15/2011 received by USCIS Lockbox

12/19/2011 email notification about acceptance of our application

12/24/2011 I-797C + biometrics appointment

01/10/2012 biometrics taken in Irving, Texas

01/19/2012 email notification about letter send for interview & testing for feb. 17th 2012

01/20/2012 interview letter for testing in Irving, Texas

02/15/2012 email notification about approved I-765 and I-131

02/15/2012 EAD card in production

02/17/2012 interview & testing in Irving - APPROVED

02/17/2012 email notification 'permanent resident card in production'

Funny thing is, online it says, that my I-130 is still under review!!!

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

Wow! Pretty fast! I am wondering if I will have an interview? I got my EAD already. I think our approvals (December Filers) are for March-April :)

On the USCIS website, it says that my EAD has been ordered for production (yeah :) )

But i didnt get an email from there informing me of that. (i did get emails for all the other notices before)

Well, hopefully I'll get something physical soon!

EAD and AP received on Feb 28th. It took 67 days for the approval. Now we wait for the green card.
