I think the guidelines state after one year on AP you can file this. Do some research in the meantime and before you get to that I'm sure your AP will be over! Wish carolyn would also see the end to this!

Insha Allah I will do some research , but I really pray that it should be over soon, and we don't have to file writ mandamus , one it's expansive secondly I feel it's risky too, but if God forbidden our AP will go longer than 1 year, then there will be no other choice. ,

I totally understand.. we are just a month behind you and it feels like heartbreak... Inshallah it's been a while since the embassy has moved AP cases into issued visas... maybe our time is very soon!!!

What I have researched on visa journey and on some other websites, those applicants who’ spouses are Gori or Gora. Their AP is little longer than other couples, but still it’s very very long period. My wife is White Muslim American, and it’s been 8 and half months since I am on AP.

My wife is also Muslim American, and I don’t think this is a case, I have seen lots of cases being approved really early, but yes some got their approval really late, and I am sure they check those cases more closely who are married to White Americans,

And also the AP (paper) says clearly, every case is unique and different to other, so Only Allah knows what is the real cause of delay .

i think its nottrue that white gori or gora have long AP, i am victim of this horrible AP since july 2010 and my wife is pakistani american.

ive made all the updates just look at the section in the update post above u will see their info with visa received it has date of interview and when they got the visa
