Yes, waiting to get in on the action at Hartford. I was wondering when things would pick up the pace there. I'm happy to see other Hartford folks get notices--that gives me more hope!

Hi again my dear friends,

I had my interview today at 10:30, got there at 10 . The officer called my name at 10:32. The whole interview took only 10 min!! I had a big folder with all the documents, but he didn't ask for any further piece!!! He just told me that I am lucky that I passed my full three years . (I got my green card on March 5th 2009) otherwise I couldn't been interviewed!! The questions was pretty easy, he didn't ask me to read any thing, but ask me to write: WASHINGTON WAS THE FIRST PRESIDENT!! And that is it!!!

Let me see if I remember my Questions:

Who was the first president

House of representative has howmany member

Who is the chief justice

Name one war in 1900s

We elect representative for howmany years

Opppps I don't remember the last one !! Good luck everybody

Wow so many people with good news in moving forward, awesome! good.gif

I hope the trend you guys are seeing is indeed something new and, if so, I might expect to see some changes 6 days from now on the 13th.. gawd I sure hope so, I cannot wait to bring all this finally to an end, I'm so done with the wait and doubts :)

He just told me that I am lucky that I passed my full three years . (I got my green card on March 5th 2009) otherwise I couldn't been interviewed!!??

so, if a person is not here for 3 years after getting green card...they can't be interviewed?

From my understand you can be interviewed but you cannot get an oath done until the 3 year anniversary. So people who would have an oath on the same day would be put back on the big pile instead :)

Did you file right at the start of your 90 day window? Maybe they are waiting for some technical date to pass before they schedule your interview...

I send my application the 14th of December, the 13th would've been the 90 day window. They received it the 19th and the 21st was my NOA date. So while close to the window, there was almost a week in between, it should've been ok I'd think. I just hope it will be a new thing where they only give people interview dates on/after the 3 year anniversary

I'm sure you're ok about your filing time. After some of the posts on here I was thinking that if you hadn't reached your 'anniversary date' yet that could be why you had yet to hear anything. Momentum seems to be picking up for the December filers and hopefully when your anniversary date passes you will hear something.

Congrats to Moony! Your interview sounded pretty painless - let's hope it's the beginning of a trend :) Thanks for posting the questions!
