I had planned to take him sightseeing. He arrived on a Thursday night, the next day I had to work. All the sightseeing plans for that weekend and labor day were interrupted by hurricane Frances. So the first few days of his life in the US were windy and stormy and the electricity was out for a day and a half. I still lived with my parents, so it was actually a really fun bonding time with Sujeet, myself and my family.

No TV, nor nothing else that comes with electricity, so all you could do was sit around talking or play board games in candlelight. Sujeet taught us an Indian stick dance, we taught him some American stuff, all while the wind was blowing outsite. It was very fun in an adventurous sort of way! :D I got an extra day off of work because of the hurricane clean up, so that was nice too, to not have to go to work and be with Sujeet all day again.

We are still waiting on a interview date (probably in January), but I suspect we will be doing a lot of "catching up" during her first week here! I doubt we will get out much that first week, but during the first month, I suspect we will do some sightseeing, visit my family, and plan our wedding & honeymoon.
