Hello my friends, today I went black to the embassy and picked up my visa. So here's the details of the interview that I promised to post:

My Interview was at 10:30 so I was there at 10, after finishing the security check I went in the waiting room where it was kinda crowded, They called for me at 10:15 the Tunisian guy took the needed documents and then he told me it was missing the tax income of 2010 and the affidavit of support but he said they gonna interview me anyway, I was really worried and I went back to my sit waiting for them to call be back. ANYWAY at 10:45 I was called again to another window this time he was an American guy. He was really nice and he asked how I'm doing :)

Then he told to put my hand on a device to take my finger prints, after that he just asked few questions.

1- where did u meet?

2- how long u 've been together?

3-How many times ur husband has been married before?

4-where does he live?

5-Whats his job?

6-where his parents live?

That's it he then said wait I'm gonna give u a letter and guess what he gave me the famous 221g letter I was devasted cos I read alot abt it and then he said I should provide for them the missing docs, and then he gave me back my passport.

I was so sad and I called my husband I was kinda angry at him LOOL I know it soundds ridiculous anyway to make the Story short he went right away to his computer and he emailed the docs in few minutes, so I went looking for a cyber cafe to print the docs out. With the help of Allah I did it in a real short time maybe an hour. Then I went back to the embassy. waited for my number then I gave the same Tunisian guy the documents I was told to wait and I was waiting for almost 2hrs then the same interview from the morning came to the window called my name and he gave a yellow slip and he said come back on Wednesday at 2 to pick up ur visa.

But the weird thing that they never asked to see any pictures of us or proofs of communication I went there with 2 big folders of skype, msn extracts along with letters and emails and pictures!!

AT the end I just wanna say that the Embassy staff was wonderful and so friendly and They made me feel comfortable. I'm still surprised that the interview so easy a piece of cake.

My advice to people who r waiting for their interviews do not be worried like I did.

I wanna thank all my visajourney family thanks for ur support and great tips u made this agonizing process so much easier for us. Wish u all the best!! I guess the real journey will start now. GOD BLESS YOU ALL (L) (L) (L)

Congratulations

Yeah it isn't unusual that they don't check a lot of the correspondence and proof of relationship stuff you bring, but I still say it is better to have this than not have it. Great that you were able to get the docs and get everything taken care of so quickly.
