I also had my NOA1 from VSC on 28th October. I had my NOA2 on January 26th, i sent my packet 3 back last week and had my medical. Maybe you should call VSC?

That's quick, only like 3 months.

from reading all you guy's posts, sounds like there are a lot of things to do after NOA2 is received in a relatively short amount of time, it's a good idea to brush up on all the different things that needs to be prepared.

 May the Lord be with all October filers who got the NOA 2. I am October 12 2011... and still waiting and waiting... I am begining to think that this is some kind of a test of patience. CSC wants me to :clock: quietly :reading: a new novel. Something that I can do after work. The worst part is, my passport is with Travisa - so I can't go anywhere until I get it back with my lifelong multiple entry visa. :crying:

be patient, they'll get to yours eventually.

9/19/11 - sent I-129F

9/21/11 - email NOA1

9/27/11 - hard copy NOA1

3/20/12 - congressional inquiry (6 months since NOA1)

4/4/12 - inquiry result: petition approved (still no NOA2 text/email/letter)

4/20/12 - packet 3 received from embassy

We are 5 months and 1 day. I called uscis today and they told me that CSC is behind with processing applications. As of today they are processing September 16th applications.

:crying::bonk:

They told you 9/16? A few hours ago someone posted that they were told 8/2 on a different thread. Sometimes I think they just make up these numbers so you'll hang up and stop calling.

9/19/11 - sent I-129F

3/20/12 - congressional inquiry (6 months since NOA1)

Really!!! That sucks a big time!!

They even wont let me do the service request. As a reason they told because CSC is behind... Call in a month...

number of applications goes up in summer and down in winter. They'd have to hire/fire tons of people every year.

I'm trying not to worry too much right now, as I'm still within the recommended time. You must have been lucky and got a kind officer lol!

I do wish it would hurry up though. It still hasn't been 'touched' since 4th December :/
