what is a Actuary??????????????????? what ever it is pays pretty good.

#24 Actuary-$81,509 ? I wanna be that coz how hard could it be to say

" actully" all dayum day? I got that experiance on Vj..

Math and stats majors end up in that career. Its a position in the insurance industry, calculate risks and premiums and things like that. Very statistical.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

That's my job! :)

Well, I'm not credentialed yet, but am on the track. Better get back to studying for my actuarial exams!

BTW, the average salary seems a bit low compared to what I've seen on industry salary surveys....

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

From what I've been told, actuaries that work for the government get paid pennies compared to those who work in insurance or consulting. I'll stay away from the SSA!

I have a friend who is an actuary. She earns more in her second year out of university than I would have in 3.5 years in my last UK job.

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

Yeah, that factored in a wee bit into my decision to change careers from HS Math teacher to actuary... ;)
