No, its not correct.

You only need a full medical if your medical has expired or if its been lost.

If your vaccination is incomplete then you need to have ONLY the vaccination portion filled out by the civil surgeon.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you Inky. I looked closer at the instructions on the I-693 and no another physical is not needed to adjust status. It says that if you are adjusting your status from K-1 another physical is not needed unless you file the I-485 one year after the physical was initially performed in their home country. I have had some luck finding civil surgeons that will verify the vaccinations for us without a physical. Thank you once again for your time.

It seems every civil surgeon has his or her own ideas, what you actually need can be irrelevant if you can't find one that will sign the paperwork.

So you either have to keep asking different ones are just bite the bullet to get the paperwork sorted. The one we used was okay, but wanted proof of vacination history in more detail than was available on the DS-3025. We could have found one that would have just given me the one shot I needed, but we decided to just get it taken care of. It wasn't a huge amount of money in the greater scheme of things.

That said, don't let them talk you into getting a full medical, thats taking the piss

No. Only if your medical is more than 12 months old. If you're missing shots you need to have a vaccination transcription done but if your shots are complete you just send a copy of the DS-3025 you got with your medical in your home country.
