Yes it was online. My wife actually is the petitioner. Although I did the booking myself, it should not be a problem if your fiance did the booking as long as YOUR NAME is the guest in the booking.

What website? I heard booking.com offers cheap price. I am not sure though. So, is it OK if he pay for it and not me, as long the name of the guest is me? I also have someone with me, my older sister. Thank you for the reply. :)

I booked with Expedia.com, because I worked for the call center that handles their calls. You may want to look around other sites but so far they had the lowest rate plus I know the booking process. YES it should be ok as long as the name of the booking or the guest name is yours. Hmmm the rate could be higher since you have someone with you but it shouldn't reach 2K....my booking was for myself only since I declared I was going to be alone. I forgot to mention that the booking I made is a pre-paid type booking meaning it was paid in full at the time of reservation.

I have not stayed at Tune hotel. For my medical at SLEC last July, I stayed at Casa Bocobo hotel. Casa Bocobo satisfied my basic needs, my entire stay (6days) at Casa Bocobo was quite satisfactory. IMO, Hotel Soriente and Casa Bocobo are just two of the nearest hotels to SLEC, but I would rather still choose Casa Bocobo.

Good luck! smile.png

Stayed in Casa Bocobo twice now.. First time for medical for 4 days. they gave us a discount for doing 3+ days. The second time for 2 days when we did interview. The cost for 3 people is 2200php a night and a little cheaper if you get 3+ or 6+ days. Very good service, clean, friendly, and free breakfast is delicious.

If we decide to stay a night in Manila before flight we may stay at Casa Bocobo.

I booked online at Cherry Blossom Hotel for my Fiance, her two kids 7 & 9, and her Brother who I asked to go with to help and protect. They are there now. My first and biggest issue is that I booked and paid the deposit that asked for with total due at check out. For 12 days, php 25,380 deposit php 2,080 which was charged to my card. The reservation states in country/Phil people at check in pay a php 2,000 deposit for incidental costs to be refunded and $100/php 4,000 for foreigners. At checking they stated my Fiance needed to pay php 25,000!!! CASH DEPOSIT and any balance to be returned. Add my credit card deposit of php 2,080 and we have overpaid before they even seen the room??? For a customer staying 12 DAYS you would think they would treat them a bit better than this. And they have my Credit card # to charge as well.

They have been there 4 days and Wifi does not work in the room but only out in hall or lobby and then not that good.

2 Free breakfast everyday 'But it's included in price paid so not Free'. My Fiance says it's only enough for the two small kids and her and Brother order their food from the Hotel restaurant menu and prices are not good.

Check out isn't until 11/16 so we will see how the billing works out but I'm preparing myself and my credit card to not be overcharged. I also read on Trip Advisor after she checked in that fellow Filipinos said foreigners were treated much better than them. This was more than one person saying this. I find this disgusting for one Filipino to do to another.

I would like to recommend a hotel and resort just 25 minutes from Pasay / Ninoy Aquino airport. The owner is an Englishman and has very sweet Pinay wife. They will pick you up st the airport and the rooms are extremely nice. The place is in a quiet subdivision of Bacoor right across from Bacoor SM. Wonderful visit here and the room rates start at just 1600 PHP with free breakfast for two.

Have stayed at hotel H2O near embassy and it was very nice. Also just got back and stayed at Pan Pacific and was blown away. Beautiful hotel. Both a bit on the higher price side but not to bad and I thought they were both worth the money.

I'm going back to Manila the last two weeks of January and decided to stay in a condo I found on airbnb.com. It's near MOA at the Sea Residences. Total for 10 nights is $464. The pics look as nice as any area hotel but has a full kitchen and is not as expensive. I'll give a full review once I return.
