Hi I'm new to the forum, but have been reading for very long time now. I'm in the stage that my husbands condition on residence needs to be removed. We will be able to send out package beginning of September. I have gathered the following evidence to send and would like an opinion if that is enoug:

- copy of front and back of green card

- copy of both driver license showing same address

- copy of our deed of property (our home)

- copy of federal and state taxes for 2009 and 2010 showing joint filing

- copy of tax bill 2010 showing both of our names and address

- copy of mortgage papers showing joint ownership

- copy of car title showing joint ownership

- copy of title of registration of our car showing both names

- copy of checking account statement showing joint ownership ( 4 statements)

- copy of money market account statement showing joint ownership (4 statements)

- copy of health insurance card showing family coverage and both of our names

- copy of both of our visa credit cards showing same card number

- copy of both of our mastercard showing same card number

- copy of our marriage license

- copy of church marriage certificate and copy of our wedding invitation

- copy of utility bills showing both names on it

- Letter from my employer verifying that my husband is a primary beneficiary on my 401(K) plan and life insurance

- copy of holiday envelopes addressed to both of us

- copy of two itinaries showing both our names from vacations we took

- Pictures from our civil marriage up to date

Am I missing anything. Is this enough? Thanks in advance

it should show married living togather two years as a bonafide marriage every thing jointy, make a cover letter, list all, items keep it organized. it looks good good luck

Thanks, I do have a cover letter but didn't mention in the previous post, I am more worried about the evidence if I have enough to prove bonafide marriage. Can I use an acco clip to put this all together?

That's a good list of evidence you have there. I am about to remove conditions myself and I also included copies of the bank statements for our joint checking account throughout the 2 years we've been married now. I understand that they want to see evidence covering the whole time period, so I included statements from 12/09, 06/10, 12/10 and 06/11, so that they can see that we've had these accounts for a longer time.

I also sent photos from us over the last 2 years. If you have life insurance (showing him as beneficiary) or last wills and testaments showing the each other as beneficiaries, you could include those as well. But it looks like you have it all covered already and you have a solid packet.

I will use ACCO fasteners again, just like I did for the AOS packet.

Shoot for the moon - even if you miss, you'll land among the stars...

Drop the marriage license and certificate. They already have your marriage certificate from the AOS.

I was told to go easy on pictures and that's what I am doing.

Your list is solid. Good Luck.

Looks like you have everything covered to me. :) Just make sure your account statements cover two years worth (for example, don't send in January, February, March, and April of this year...make sure it covers 2009 and 2010, too). I sent in statements for every fifth month. Here is the list of evidence we sent for my husband:

Copy of his green card

Copy of the 2010 property assessment on our home showing both of our names

Copies of mortgage documents from our time share purchase

Copies of our joint tax returns for 2009 and 2010

Copies of bank statements from our joint account

Copy of our car contract of sale

Copy of joint credit cards

Various bills showing common address from our apartment from 2008-2009

Various bills showing common address from our house from 2009-present

Copy of his life insurance policy showing me as beneficiary

Copy of itinerary from our 2010 trip to Hawaii

Copy of our son’s birth certificate

Various pictures from holidays, vacations, and special occasions

The list looks good. As mentioned before, you don't need to submit marriage certificate or license, they know by now that you are married;-)

Also, when you submit any joint bills, bank statements,...make sure they cover the entire time you have been married (not every single months but maybe 2 per year per account.

I also heard to go easy on pics, I resized the pictures I wanted to send and printed them all out on one or two pages with captions and dates and that seemed to be ok.

Don't get to worried, ROC is pretty straightforward...

Well about the utility bills, I only have for 2011. We bought a condominium in October 2010 (unfinished) and didn't move in until January 2011 (that's when we finally got occupancy permit to move in). Before that we lived with my parents as we wanted to save up for the house. So I am including utility bills showing both our names from this year.

Any thoughts

So I am including utility bills showing both our names from this year.
That's what you have, and it's just fine.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
