Hi VJ's members. Last July 29 my fiance got a RFE notice and planning to reply this coming Tuesday. my question is how many days before we will get our NOA2?

I saw that most of the people in here waited around 2 - 3 weeks, guess it also depends on what the RFE is about. Me and my fiance we are waiting from 2 months and one week :( Good luck to you

I advice you to track the response, and once it's received by USCIS, then you call them for updates, and you better insist until you have your information.

Mines didn't take to long to be processed, and I had a bunch of RFEs

Good luck

mine is just as simple as putting N/A instead of NONE with the I-129f packet. btw, the USCIS already assigned me an alien number already.

that's pretty long in waiting, 2 months and one week? why? hope mine won't take that long. do you have your alien number already cause i already have mine even with a RFE.

so it seems that the average time to wait is really 2 to 3 weeks. but i saw your timeline and you had a faster route to the NVC compared with others. some takes one month before NVC received it from USCIS and onother two weeks for the MNL case no. and almost a week to the USEM Manila. hope ours will go faster like yours. thanks for the reply..

My fiance called USCIS and they told him what we can see on the site :bonk: but the lady said she sent a email to Vermont Service and that we have to wait 30 more days :( If we dont get the answer within the 30 days then we have to call them again... One week is gone, 3 more to wait. We hope we gonna get the approval soon

If you got a RFE, then you will receive a NOA-3. Your RFE was your NOA-2. Your RFE was the 2nd Action that was taken on your case. So you received a (Notice of Action-2) which was the I-797 form stating that they are requesting more evidence. Everyone needs to get away from using (NOA-1-2-3-4-97-1002) ect.

Hey smirky,

I logged on today to ask the same exact question, hahaha. I sent my RFE response and CSC received it on July 14, approximately 1 week before my deadline. And now I am patiently waiting. I've heard people get their NOA2 in a few days shortly thereafter or a couple weeks later. I know USCIS says within 60 days but I really hope that's not the case. Good luck to you!

Hey John thanks for that small tip. I am about to send in my completed RFE request and at the end I wrote something about wanting to get an noa2 but I should be begging for a noa3. I will correct that now.

Again thanks for the tip.I voted for your post.

It depends on what you get the RFE about. We've got NOA2 nearly 53 days after they have got our RFE.

They asked us about G-325A both. (NOA1 to NOA2 : 211 days in our case)

I got mine 3 days after they received the reply but I don't think that's the norm.

may i ask, what put your case under administrative review?
