Did not get FP letter either, opened a service request last Fri. Was told the same BS about how busy ASCs are these days.

My numbers are different as well. The top one has "*", the bottom has "{:content:}quot;.

A different forum had a thread a bout this where is was suggested the lower number is your fee payment number/confirmation etc.

I checked my paperwork for this mysterious number theme ... The NOA shows two different numbers. The one on the bottom has a $ and is completely different from the application number in the upper left area. This application number is mentioned twice on the FP invitation (the number with the *) and just to be clear, they are identical and they are the application numbers which can be used to look up your status online. The $ number so far only appeared on the NOA on the far bottom (left side). I think this is how it should look like - but then ... what do I know?

Just got an email, apparently my interview has been scheduled, so just waiting for the hardcopy with the actual date now!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I just received my biometrics appointment letter, scheduled for 10/05/2011. But I will try to go 3 or 4 days earlier hopefully they'll let me in, I'd appreciate it if someone can update the trend, good luck to everyone

Hopefully the other interview letters are not far. Does the interview letter come from NSC or from the local/field office?

I was surprised to get mine already and did not expect it before at least another 4 weeks ...

Anyway, to answer your question. The letter looks like it came from the local office but the envelope says it was mailed from zip code 64063, which is Lee's Summit, MO. My local office is Tucson and has an 857 zip code.

It definitely needs synchronization with the local office though as they have to find a time slot for your interview appointment.

MacPara, I wonder how reliable the online status is. Did you at least get an email/text notification for your case status change?

By the way, my I--130/I-485 (from 3 years ago) still say "pending" :).

I have my fingerprints tomorrow. just checked the letter and it says for applicants of naturalization, I am to bring the alien registration card ID. WHAT IS THAT? is it the Green Card?

I have all kinds of state issued IDs just nothing that actually says Alien Registration Card!
