Hello friends,

I'm new here on Visa Journey. I went indicated by a Brazilian friend, I received many compliments on this site.

And then I came to confer with my own eyes, and really this is the most complete site I've ever seen!

People really interested in helping - That's what I (and my fiancee) needed!

Well, first I want to say congratulations to everyone who got the visa! I think it should be a lot of happiness. And those who are in the process: I wish all the luck and all the dreams will come true!

Everything will be fine for you all!

I have many questions... (Millions of Questions ) And then I'd rather ask people who have done this and could not be any problem. I would like to hear stories. I think this strengthens the confidence to go forward.

I'd like to read these stories, I would like to receive tips on what to do, the best way possible and fast.

What we're doing now is read and read and gather our documents and evidence of our relationship.

I want to know: What is necessary to send it to start the process K-1 visa?

I read that there are three forms to start the process - right? (if I'm wrong, please correct me!)

I-129F (Petition for Alien Fiancé)

I-134 (Affidavit of Support) <- Is necessary to send this too? It is also necessary to send the first time together?

G-325A (Biographic Information) <- We must fill this out? It is necessary also send together the first time?

I read that these are the forms that we should send - may be wrong, but you all explain to me the right way.

Is there anything else we should send to start the process? How: Photos, Letters, plane tickets etc?

or it is not necessary now?

I wonder what is necessary to send and not get errors later.

Another question: This process takes a long time to be ready? (I think so... that's why I'm afraid)

I will explain the situation a little better ... She's pregnant (I'll be a father!) And she is 9 weeks pregnant. I think our baby will be born in late February, so we're running out of time.

She has medical documents showing that she is pregnant, we should send it?

I'm afraid not be ready until February and missing the birth of our child, That would be cruel and very sad.

I'll have lost the entire pregnancy that is a fantastic time then I cannot even think of that possibility..

Anyway, I'd like help about how to proceed in the best way possible,

Thank you all!

Hi! and welcome. Here is the K-1 guide http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Read over that and it will answer a lot of questions. Regarding the pregnancy, if the USC is pregnant, she may be able to request an expedite based on her situation - no guaranteee it will be granted, but worth a shot. You could also apply for a tourist visa to be there for the birth. Good luck and congrats!

AOS for my husband

No expedite for pregnancy or having a baby sorry. If they did this, EVERYONE would get pregnant and rush over to the US.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

My understanding is it's the USC that is pregnant, which is significantly different than the beneficiary being pregnant. Here is a whole recent thread about USC pregnancy and expedite. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/319518-is-it-worth-a-try/

here are some examples of the forms you need to send in:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

1. the k1 application

2. form 325a bio sign form, from both of you with a passport sized picture(1 of you and one of her)

3. 2 letters of intent (1 from u.and 1 from her)

4. proof have meeting in the last 2 years. boarding passes, picture, hotel receipt

5. make sure all the forms are original(letter of intent, form 325a) with signatures

6. $350 check for app. fee

remember if she uses her passport as proof of U.S. citizenship instead of her birth certificate make sure every single page is copied they want the entire passport book copied.

make a copy of the entire packet for you record and check it over at least 3 times before sending it off to avoid any rfe. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LEAVE ANY SPACES UNANSWERED.

the link will have example forms so you can have a diagram to go by. also make sure you answer every question and don't leave anything blank. also, put n/a and none in the correct spaces that applies to you.

Welcome to the family. Follow the K1 guides and forms on this site, they are accurate. Be complete, keep all documents organized and multiple copies one for both of you. The sooner you file the sooner you will begin the Journey. Look at the requirements, forms and you will be OK. Each person who want to second guess them by substituting a shortcut usually has problems ( see the posts here). Good Luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

No expedite for pregnancy or having a baby sorry. If they did this, EVERYONE would get pregnant and rush over to the US.

Everyone? Certainly not me or my wife. Having a baby is not a joke or a way to skip the line, is a real commitment.

Everyone pretty much gave the same advice I would give. When my fiancee and I first put our packe together we took everything from this site. If you send in all the forms under the K1 process on this site you will be in good shape. they have downloadable / sendable forms and examples to show you have to fill it out. You will not need your affidavit of support until it is time for your interview in Brazil. What you will need is a completed I-129 F petition, a G325A for you and for her, A Fiance / Fiancee letter of intent from each of you (filled out and signed. Is she in America right now or Brazil? If she is in America you will need to prepare / send her your end of things and then she will send it in when she sends in everything. If you are together in Brazil, then you can fill / send these things together. You will each need the pass port style pictures (clipped to the top of each G325A) Supporting evidence: My fincee and and I sent in chat transcripts from skype, pictures of she and I when I was visiting her in the UK and she was visiting me here. I sent in just a screen shot of my email box (which showed that every other email I got was from her). You just need proof that you have a seriious and ongoing relationship. You can probably use the fact that she is pregnant with your child to expidite your claim. I would prepare an urgent letter to the USCIS stating something along the lines of "I don't want to make my fiancee have to face the challenges of being pregnant alone. I want to be there when my child is born." etc Good Luck and congratulations on your engagement / baby
