After months of waiting and feeling desperate because the other people (who filed in the same date and after us) have been getting their NoA2's except us, we finally got the SMS!!!

My fiance was discussing with our realtor about the house we wanted to purchase. He was about to sign the papers when he got an SMS saying our petition has been approved! He had this face the whole time :o in front of the realtor and his dad. Hahahaha!

I posted yesterday about getting an NBI clearance. Looks like I have to move fast then! Woooot!

So, we need to wait for the NVC document with our MNL case number and instructions right?

You can call NVC in a week and ask them for the MNL case number.

I never got mail from NVC.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

First of all, congratulations! :thumbs:

I would suggest getting your NBI clearance while its still early because of the 'new' system & may cause further delays in the end. I applied for my NBI last July 7 & releasing will on the 27th so I had to reschedule my interview.

Like what Inky said, you can wait a week or 2 & call NVC to get your MNL # so you can go ahead with your medical exam.

K-1 Timeline

2-01-2011 > Mailed 129F

02-09-2011 > NOA1 email & SMS notification

02-12-2011 > NOA1 hardcopy received via mail (official date on NOA1 is 02-07-11)

05-17-2011 > NOA2 email & SMS notification (approved in 99 days from NOA1 date)

06-06-2011 > Got MNL case number

06-08-2011 > Paid Visa fee @ BPI bank (scheduled interview appointment online the same day)

06-13 & 14-2011 > 2-day medical exam

Congrats!

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
