Like I said, lame and laughable.

It really is. It's hard to imagine a world where folks make it based on their ability and merit instead of legislation mandating they be in a position based on their skin color or sex. Because obviously, the legislation really helps everyone equally - especially those it's meant to help.

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

Its also hard for some to imagine (come to understand) a world where discrimination is real and based on reality throughout history, independent many a times of ability, a world where these realities have contributed to the establishment of the present day world we live in. I have stated it before, likely to your ignorance, of course- these pieces of legislation are needed less as we progress towards a day where there are less idiots out there claiming victimization when they are the beneficiaries of a historical reality they deny. Eventually there will be people with abilities, without people of any particular color, gender, orientation, or creed whining about equal access, and you can find something else to whine and rant about then.

So we don't have any of those people now? Or is it that we don't have enough of them and still need to protect the rest?

I'd have to argue that we have plenty of people - of all colors - who are more than capable of filling all the "good jobs" out there and we don't need this ####### anymore. What say you in response to that? Do we still need to "protect" black people? And if so, why aren't we protecting Asians? They're a minority that's been discriminated against all throughout our history yet I very seldom see them marching in protest or demanding the government take care of them. Why is that?

That post of yours has been reported as being racist which it obviously is. You are a racist.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

This is clearly a case where you should stop and read back what has been written in this thread a few times (not just once).

Still the same. I am not surprised we see people arguing against AA using this kind of logic. Do you not see how they are really irrelevant? :(

What's funny to me is reality includes blatant, legally authorized and encouraged discrimination against white men and that's perfectly OK with most folks. If you really wanted to be fair, you'd have to change your reality into equality.

I tend to 'make up' for the discrimination with the tax cuts I get. Those are nice, keeps me smiling.

Maybe you can have a business or be a partner in a corporation, sometime this tax year? It's really fun, you should try it !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I stick it to the man by working for low wages.

I could take it a step further and itemize my deductions for the non-profit I work for but I'm too lazy for all that. I justify it in my head by thinking the grand or two I pay in taxes goes straight to a new uparmored HMMWV for our troops or works to topple a foreign regime that doesn't hang tough with America.
