I have seen some USC with their fiancé (e) at the interview. I believe it might help a little bit but couldn't have a significant impact on the approval of the interview. However I don't want to discourage you from being next to her at this critical time of your relationship and also no one knows the influence that you can have on the out come of the interview. Being there, might worth on both ways.

Good Luck

You can't tell anything for 100% and since no one knows what would be in the mind of the CO, you can't say this or that could help during the interview. Having the USC fiancé (e) at the interview is a plus sign for the approval, however there could be some circumstances that couldn't be overcome by the fact of him being with you. Never the less, I would like to encourage you to have him with you at the interview.

Good luck

cos we are meeting this month in Bangkok in which we will save the evidence of pictures and ticket boarding pass and hotel Receipt

if she will not get off and i will try on my luck hope with all proof and i just wanted to know do you think if i attach Money Transfer

Receipt with my all support documents can cause me Problems since i never sent her Money she sent me by online Transfer if i'm the

one who is sending her Money could be little ambiguous that we are doing a Business it wouldn't sound genuine

The system is not set up to require the Petitioner to be present for the K-1 interview. Meaning, it technically should not be a deciding factor.

On the other hand, I was there for ours -- who wouldn't want to be if they are financially capable of doing so? -- and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It's a stressful process, we plunked through it together, and even though it ended up being shocking uneventful I'm glad I was there. The CO actually ended up just chatting with me about my service overseas for the first half as he signed off on everything, and then asked my wife a few conversational questions.

Some folks in this forum vehemently say you don't need to be there as if it offends their mail-order-bride sensibilities to do so (I guess that extra plane ticket wasn't rolled into the online value package price), but if you actually care about the Beneficiary, are not strapped for cash, and are emotionally embroiled in the outcome, I don't see how you could *not* show up.

Here you have one person, the CO, invariably deciding the outcome of the rest of your life, and you do what? Go to work to punch in? Sit at home watching Two and a Half Men reruns waiting for an email or phone call to tell you what happened?

For us, we lived together overseas for the entire duration of the K-1 -- from submission to granting -- so the outcome of that interview literally determined whether I ever returned to the U.S. or not.

Anyway, the short answer is if you have the money and time why no go support your loved one?

You also have to keep in mind that a CO will not always allow the Petitioner to physically go into the interview room. In some cases, you might have to wait outside. Which I did see happen, much to the confusion of the guy as I had just been let into ours.

Good luck. Wish you the best.

thanks for sharing your story and info i will certainly be so much exultant to pursue what you said if that is case that my USC Fiancee

will have to wait outside and if this will not influence in my Approval or i won't get any outcome outta this then i guess there is no use of making all these Arrangements

i have all the things available all material except the Hotel letters so i did call Radission hotel london they will email us the

letter that we both stayed together but even its ok with AP i will wait but refusal will make both of pretty much

dejected then we will have go on i-130 which i dont want it to eventuate to see when the wind blows now Thanks for your suggestions

If you have the money and time, pls do go and be with ur fiance.

Though you might not be able to enter the interview section with your fiance, as a USC, you can wait in the citizens section of the consulate.

Also there's been a case where the beneficiary was having a difficult interview, he mentioned to the CO that his fiance is outside if he wanted some clarifications, the CO invited to USC and she explained better, a visa was granted...

For me, I'll travel to Lagos and be with my fiance on her interview date, its worth it....

I'vebeen told by some it is important that both are there. Some look at it as another visit to be together and proof of an on going relationship.

I think it has a HUGE difference. For example, I went for my fiancee's interview to Moscow. Given that Moscow embassy does not allow USC at the interview, they allowed me to be present. During the interview the first question they asked was: "I am assuming this is your fiance?" They asked one more question on how we met and approved it. It was clear that it played positive role.

I believe that if your fiance goes to the interview, it shows support. It shows your relationship is strong. I wouldn't miss it for the world. At my Embassy, I have to be with my husband at the time of the interview because they interview us both and if I'm not present, they ask him to come back when I am available to attend.
