CSC - NOA2 to NVC Delay

They just replied to my e-mail message today:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

Please keep in mind your petition has been recently approved (June 17,

2011; 17 business days ago) by USCIS Office, please allow more (as your

Approval Notice indicates) time for USCIS to process and transfer your

petition to the NVC.

----

Do I call USCIS now, or jsut wait a bit longer. Or maybe just keep calling both!!!

That pretty standard response - I expect the same in another two days. But I guess it does it's trick. The NOA2 date 6/15 got their cases at NVC, so I think you should be getting your case today or tomorrow. At your decretion, you may wait for 2 more days but keep calling NVC daily.

Got mine in on the 7th. NOA2 was on 6/14. Now have my AOS payment on its second day and I have access to the IV bill payment but no fee associated with it yet.

I also already got my electronic processing E-Mail confirmation back.

I got my NOA2 for my I-130 and I-129...but still have not got that note from NVC yet... it will be 30 days on Friday...then I can call!

I see that a lot of us have got NOA2 approvals in second week of June from CSC are waiting for the case to be received at NVC - VSC cases are received at NVC pretty quickly. The I posted this so that we share the NOA2 and NVC receipt dates, so that we know the progress after this long week-end. Thanks in advance to all.

Is the number we call on the bottom of our receipt (customer service)? I got my NOA2 on 6/24...it will be 21 days on Friday...so I am hoping!

I asked the NVC rep today if USCIS waits for a pile to send as a batch and he said "yes, they come in batches."

So... the June NOA2's at CSC are stacking up, I imagine. Anda any day now, they will send the bundle over to NVC. They probably send the batches every 10 to 15 days, and we just got the raw end of the deal in terms of timing. On the plus side, the phone reps are a lot nicer than I expected.

Without re-writing or calling anyone, I got this email this am:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) to locate your approved petition. USCIS has informed the NVC, that your petition is en route to the NVC. Once we have received your petition, the appropriate agent will receive further instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

Mimikipa, it looks like the delay is at the USCIS - CSC. No NOA2 with date after 6/15 has been received at NVC in the last 2 days. I hope that your case is received at NVC in a day or two.

Diana Khader, mine was 6/21 and I sent an email to NVC yesterday. Remember to send an inquiry email to NVCRESEARCH@state.gov on 7/18 (15 business days) with your USCIS Case Number in the subject and full name and date of borth of both of you in the subject asking for NVC to research your case where abouts - remember to enclosed a copy of your approval letter received from USCIS.

Long time reader, first time posting...

We were also notified by the CSC for an I-130 approval on 30 June, but like most everyone else, NVC has yet to receive our approval-or at least to process the approval into their system. Truth be told, we were not expecting an I-130 approval until August (based off of the 5 month CSC timeline), so we still feel that we're still within our expectations (of the slow government grist mill that is...that said, we are reading to move on with this thing. We'll update when we hear something....

Congrats. Getting I-130 approval without any hiccups is great and getting in 94 days is icing on the cake. Yes, some of us are also in the same boat.

Having said that we are all are eager to undertake the next step. Here we are having a small issue accross the board - since this is a single case (which I neven want) and as this is accross the board, it is not really that bad.

Keep up the good spirit and contribute if you have something for all us.

number to call NVC: 1-603-334-0700 <-- you need this for getting NVC-ID, Invoice ID, etc.

General concensus is: the petitions are sitting in the USCIS building in California.

We got our approval letter with a date of approval of June 16, but we have not heard yet anything from the NVC. I was waiting to call Monday the 18, since it will be past the 30 days they say it may take.

Please call 603-334-0700 today, because the 6/15 guys got their cases at NVC and you may have yours anytime.
