Are you sure is that date the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? I see "08/01/2011: NOA received" in your signature timeline...?

You sent package on 07/19 and the NOA date is 08/01? That's little too late date I think...?

Status Update:

As of 8:45 AM today, we received an email from USCIS stating...

"On May 16, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days."

Good! :thumbs: They seem to be consistent with the process. I hope they stay this way for the rest. :star:

The processing date is showing as August 1, 2011 for VSC. I still havent heard anything though my NOA date is July 21st 2011. Seems like all July filers have heard back. Anybody else still waiting?

Yes, I did. I was told that as long as my application date is within the 30 days of the Processing date I should be fine. In other words I shouldnt call them again until the Processing date shown is after August 21st, 2011 :-( I will until MAy end and then get an infopass appointment if I dont hear anything. I hate to be the last few on the July filers to get approval....feel left out!! :-(

Don't feel so left out. There are others of us waiting too.

I was able to get a woman at USCIS to put in a service request for me 2 days ago (on the 16th).

I dont know how they work. I would think they wont move forward unless all the old applications are cleared. Maybe they distribute the applications by names or dates, that is why some later ones gets approved first....beats me! I noticed your filing date is July 2nd,you should hear something soon.

I'm sure you"ll hear someting about your case within this month, hopefully before the Memorial Day. Do not trust those dates given by USCIS, now VSC is trying to finish up June & July filers,

they even send RFE's to July filers nowadays.They have also started August filers too, probably your folder is one of lazy IOs' table right now.

Hope you will hear something positive, don't feel left out & also remember "A watched Pot Never Boils".
