NVC check list cover letter????

hi guys

im so depressed,!!!!

today we received an email from nvc called CHECKLIST COVER LETTER and i did not understand anything from yet, i guess they say they are missing some files or fees, i dont know i joined here a print screen from the email can u please tell me whas wrogng??? im shaking right now

i guess they want the I 864 but weve already send it before even the IV package...and we have the receipt that they received it!!!

either the affidavit of support OR the corresponding fee OR the application form is missing. according to ur timeline, it must be the application form (ds-230). so print out the cover letter with the barcode and mail it together with the completed visa-application adn the needed documents.

but did u take a look at the picture i put??? they 're talking about the I 864..., i dont know if i should send the whole package , i mean the IV package or just the form..its very confusing..really

When I received a checklist a week ago,I was soo depressed.the first thing to do is calm down(I know its difficult but try)then call nvc and talk to an oparator,he/she will tell you exactly what is happening.maybe they have it and the Checklist can be a false one,you never know.

yes - and on ur picture it say OR ... so if u re sure that they have the aff o s already (why do u know, by the way? nvc website?) then just send the missing documents. or mail them everything, even a 2nd aos copy - shouldnt b a prob if u have it.

i have received a similar rfe bout my application when i had already sent it - and i called them and told me to be patient since things remain in the mailroom for a while till they r processed. so if u just have to mail deliverer's notification that the aff o s has arrived, then wait a lil longer till its in the pc.

have they requested the application fee yet? if so, pay it - once its paid mail the application.

and if u really dont know what to do: call the nvc and ask an operator what exactly is missing, they re usually really helpful.

me too , im so depressed and i cried the whole morning, i felt like the life was over really...i just i miss my husband, and i feel like we will have to wait more now...its depressing, i called my husband with tears, and he was shocked he didnt know what was wrong, then i explained everything he seemed cool,he said he's going to call them ..today...i hope its only a mistake ...i really hope so...

Sounds like something SIMPLE... "SIMPLE".

If ONE PIECE OF PAPER is Not Correct and/or a Mistake on either Party (USCIS or You) It will request Clarification.

(SAme info they sent to me via email as your thumbnail) Give it a few more days but do call NVC daily to check on the updates and the progress. Once they get it they will tell you. Then they will look at it and if they send something else AFTER they load everything and review then it's a real RFE....

For now don't stress too much bcause its asking for your documents package which you already sent. It took about a week for mine to be loaded. But I was like you...stressed.... so don't do that to yourself. It will all be ok..

The next time I called they basically said the same thing and that went on for a few days.

Finally the last time I called the girl told me that they did receive them...they are loaded and they are accepted and they closed the case and did the final review that day.

Just takes time...after all...we would love for our packages to get from being signed for and directly loaded but that just isn't possible so we rely on the human effort and have to remember that it's just ppl doing the processing it does take time.

This part of it is stressful for sure and a very good friend of mine reminded me as we approach our interview next week...i'm a total wreck..i'm emotional im tired...etc...she said remember when your running a race its the last phase that gets you the most bcos your tired and worn out emotionally and physically... but the finish line is in sight so keep going the distance and you will get there...

The next time I called they basically said the same thing and that went on for a few days.

You have to remember that we are circumventing NVC's normal procedures by NOT waiting for their normal communications, and that means that we are often out ff sync--meaning ahead of the curve--with their normal procedures. This is usually the case, but there are always those cases where something is missing--in you case it sounds more like being out of sync. You could easily be on your way to the consulate before they get everything in sync, so call, but don't expect alot of information unless you really are missing something.

You are close--very, very close--to being on your way to the consulate !!!
