Many have visited only once - some lucky and some not. It all depends if the Consulate Officer feels convinced that you have a bonafide relationship.

I guess the bigger question, as the OP has no timeline, is do you mean for requirements related to I-129F or for later when applying for K1?

I agree with moroccogirlny, it does just depend on how that particular CO views your relationship on the day of your interview. I only visited my husband once and we had no issues, I have seen people with lots of visits get denied. You need to look at any "red-flags" that may cause them to scrutinze your relationship more. If you have to overcome other issues like age or major cultural differences it could be an issue.

Good Luck.

You are only required to have met once in the 2 years prior to your petition but you do have to have proof of this, boarding passes, hotel receipts showing both names, etc.

Later on for the interview you need to provide evidence of ongoing relationship such as copies of emails, phone/chat records, etc. You can find more detailed info on this on other posts. So, provided you have supporting information, one visit is ok.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

it doest matter on how many times your fiancee visited you.the question is:when did he visited you?

my fiancee visited me 2009.and we were able to file for the petition last yr.aug. 2010..because we've waited for my annulment to be registered at the nso..and that my nso marriage certificated be annotated that my marriage has been annuled.

my petition has been approved by the uscis jan.31,2012.i got a letter from the consulate by february and my daughter and i had our medical may 16 and got out interview may 24 and we were APPROVED.

when upon going to your interview..see to it to bring all the required documents you needed especially the evidences for the proof of your relationship...e mail, chat, phone bills, western union, hotel receipts, airlines and most of all pictures of your engagement or pictures with you him and your family.

good luck!

this topic really makes me laugh.... I can't concentrate reading the post.. but thanks for the people who gave advice cause we are planning to submit out papers next week and i don't know if I can get RFE for not providing chat logs or calls a year before we met. The chat logs was lost after i reformatted my pc, but i do have some letters from my emails, cause my fiance hate writing letters we just chat and calls using skype and yahoo .And also card through USPS.

This is not true for all consulates, and it's been an issue for individuals at Casablanca, even with pounds and pounds of further evidence. Casablanca is not known for looking at evidence at interviews. Probably not a good idea to give out consulate specific advice, if you're unfamiliar with the OP's consulate.

OP- People have been denied by Casablanca and been told that a single visit was a contributing factor in the denial. Hopefully you submitted a strong enough case to overcome this issue. If you haven't had your interview yet, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have your fiancee join you in Morocco for it.
