I heard an interview on NPR about this guy - or actually a whole group of people - who are saying the world will end on May 21st. He states he has calculated it carefully using biblical sources and mathematics. He had actually made a previous prediction of the world ending back in the late 80s or something like that. When it didn't happen he said it was because he was missing some vital information that affected his calculations and he now has that.

Total blasphemy. He wasn't using "Biblical sources" nor mathematics because clearly The Word says no man knows the day or hour ( Matt.24:36 ) AND it is a world without end (Isaiah 45:17,Ephesians 3:21 ).Things in the world will eventually be destroyed, but not the planet itself (Revelation 21:1,2 Peter 3:10,Isaiah 65:17,Isaiah 66:22, and Romans 8:21 ). We can know the season because G-d operates in seasons and also because Israel is G-d's time clock .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You're right about that. The last time it went off they felt it in Boston and a big portion of the Mississippi switched course and ran north for a while! A similar quake could decimate a number of cities.

Kirk Cameron hasn't weighed in. He hasn't been heard from since CNN talked to him about the dead bird/end of world connection when he proclaimed it wasn't the end of the world. Maybe he was wrong and the rapture has happened, but we're unaware? I'll call my sister. If she's still here then it hasn't.

So, what should we call the day after Judgement Day?

Appeal to the 9th Circuit Court Day? :unsure:

I guess I will:

1) Try to buy back all my belongings...

...and...

2) Take down all my stupid signs...

...and...

3) Apologize to whomever may have listened to me babble...

...and...

4) Apologize to my bozz for calling him a YazzHat and see if he'll give me my job back!
