I'm so happy for all May AOS filers who already got their NOAs and Biometrics Appointments... Unfortunately, I'm one of the "unlucky" ones who still didn't receive any notice from the time of filing... It could be because I'm filing together with my kids, I'm not really sure... It's great to be part of VJ, it helps a lot... All the best to everyone!!!

Hellllo All :)

We sent the AOS on 5/10 and received texts and emails on 5/13. The check also cleared on 5/13. Is everything being sent to my local office for processing now?

Good Luck to all of us!!! So happy to be in the AOS world :D

Depends. If your AOS will be transferred to CSC, then your application will not be send to the local uscis. The EAD and AP are processed at USCIS Missouri. We should hope for your transfer. :)

Same here, and we sent it out 2 weeks before you. Calling USCIS again today and if they still don't have a record of receiving our package I'll take it up with the lawyer.

My husband says that I shouldn't have expected to hear anything so soon but it's been 30 days since they should have received it.

Our timeline:

2007: Admitted what we both knew all along...

May 9, 2009: Got married

May 10th, 2011: Date that lawyer claimed he mailed out AOS package

July 14th, 2011: Date that lawyer *actually* mailed out AOS package

July 18th, 2011: USCIS started processing our application

July 30th, 2011: Received Biometrics Appointment (8/11/11)

August 1st, 2011: Successful Biometrics walk-in

August 3rd, 2011: Received all NOA hard copies

September 12, 2011: Card production notice for EAD (!!!)

September 13, 2011: I765 touched

September 19, 2011: EAD arrived in the mail

December 28, 2011: Received email notification of our interview date

February 1, 2012: Interview

Well called USCIS and they were very reassuring. The agent said that they've been receiving quite a few calls all morning from people whose applications were received more than 30 days ago and for that reason and that reason alone she thinks I shouldn't worry just yet. She said if I still don't get anything from them in 2-3 weeks that would be a problem.

This seems like a long time to me, 6 weeks would have passed by then, but...?

What do you guys think? :help:

Thanks. Me too. I can't believe they went through the application that fast. I triple checked my packet before I sent it in. I have absolutely no clue what it could be. Waiting for the hard copy of RFE is just killing me.

I know what you mean. I had to wait 4 days to get my hard copy RFE yesterday. I was wondering the whole time what the problem could possibly be. Hopefully you get it soon and it is not something hard to fix.
