What's your status in U.S? If you are still waiting for your K1 visa, and are just visiting U.S you cannot work in the U.S. If you came to U.S on K1 visa and did not have your status adjusted, nor did you get a work permit - nope you can't work.

The question is what is your status? I think you're timeline is a bit out of date. Please update it or provide more info and ppl will be able to share the info, cheers!

You can't work until you've received your EAD or Green Card, any work before that is illegal. Volunteering is the only thing you can do while waiting, that's what I did volunteer at the shelter or food bank.

Hi good day to all !! I just want to ask if I can work in the USA even though we file a K-1 visa.. Because friend of my fiance just want to hire a nanny so i told i would like to work.. Is it possible?

Were you thinking of a J1 visa?

Theoretically yes, practically I highly doubt it.
