Comments : To get to the interview wow...we had to go threw over a mile of flooded streets and on moto concho and tap taps to get to the embassy almost 2 hours late...with meeting many nice people we became stuck with over night at the DR border they had connections at the embassy and made calls for us to tell them we was coming late....we got there at 930am and waited til 130pm and we had our interview that lasted a total of 10 minutes! And we think its funny that after over 9 months of collecting documents and papers the man didnt ask for one thing other then the police certif. but we where prepared just in case! I Katie, broke into tears when the man told us, ¨the long wait was worth it you are approved¨! Thank God its over and we are getting to be together!

Consulate Review: Haiti
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 30, 2008
Embassy Review : Our experience in the US Consulate in P-au-P went very well, after got there 2 hours late to our interview, they treated us very good the security guards was very friendly. restrooms was very clean, after 10 mins of interview we was approved with no proof of relationship asked. I wish USCIS was as efficient as US Consulate in P-au-P, Haiti.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
