8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

WOOHOOO!!! i'm with my dj already... at long last! I arrived last night, ahhh it's soo cold here to think it's still summer. When my fiance and i went outside the airport parking lot, i blurted " ooohh, how nice your parking lot here, it has AC!" :blush: hehe... more culture shock news soon!

Welcome to the USA. My wife came thru SFO also and I used to live in the bay area.

Yes The bay area is a natual air con

Just be thankful you did not come thru Washington DC in the winter or JFK. The parking lot would be the frezzer section of your grocery store :lol::lol::lol:

Claudeth is doing really well. She adapted quickly and is very comfortable here. She has a great personality so has really done well. She was working for the Hyatt but the work was too heavy for her, she is only 4'8". She is now employed by Sears....Tools...num num! :P She have been auditioning for bands the last couple of weeks so it would be really nice if she could get a job singing, she really loves it and has a wonderful voice...typical for a Filipina!

What part of the Philippines are you from? I have spent time in Cebu, Negros and Mindanao and loved them all! I really liked Dumaguete and would seriously consider setting up a place there when I retire, at least for part of the year.
