Whether or not you receive an October interview date will depend on just how busy the Embassy in Brussels is, I don't know one way or the other. Realistically, you should anticipate an interview date in November and be pleasantly surprised if you get an October interview date.

I anticipate my wife will have a November interview date.

Get you interview docs in order and do what we have been good at for a while....patiently wait.

Hi, That's what exactly what they said to us,that october is full and to call back on 2nd wk of october. I wonder i'am CC already but no sif? I can't wait for mu interview

Don't worry about no SIF, others have recently posted that they have been assigned interview dates without an SIF. I have always believed SIF was just that and doesn't go hand in hand with anything else.

SIF is short for sign-in fail to the online payment portal. Until recently, if someone was unable to sign in to the payment portal after sending all documents to the NVC, then it was a precursor to a case complete. However, in very recent times, people are still able to sign into the payment portal even after they receive a case complete.

The officer has stated we cannot move forward on the case until all unresolved issues/reviews are complete. A required thorough review must be done before a decision can be rendered. Unfortunately, we cannot speculate as to when this review process will be completed.

I would REALLY like to know how many "threats to national security" have tried to use the "permanent resident immigration through marriage" path to get here. gheesh. I am SO sorry you are delayed b/c the USA is such a fear-based society. SO SO SO sorry.
