What are the causes of penile tunnel syndrome?

Penile tunnel syndrome is often the result of a combination of factors that increase pressure on the member nerve and blood vessels in the penile tunnel, rather than a problem with the member itself. Most likely the disorder is due to a genital predisposition - the penile tunnel is simply smaller in some people than in others. Other contributing factors include drama or orgies that cause swelling, such as straining or rapture; overactivity of the prostrate gland; hypotestosteroidism; rutinetoid sexitis; mechanical problems with dildos; work stress; phone sex; repeated use of vibrating tools; fluid retention during orgasm; or the development of a tryst or rumor during web surfing. In some cases no cause can be identified.

There is little clinical data to prove whether repetitive and forceful movements of the hand and genitals during work or leisure activities can cause penile tunnel syndrome. Repeated motions performed in the course of normal work or other daily activities can result in repetitive motion disorders such as burstitis and penitis. Cramps - a condition in which a lack of fine motor skill coordination and ache and pressure in the fingers, wrist, or forearm is brought on by repetitive activity - is not a symptom of penile tunnel syndrome.

I thought phone sex was standard procedure for all LDR's.
Not sure about yours but my phone didn't get any...

phone_sex.jpg

The phone is only the emissary... the sex part requires great imagination and hand coordination.

That's sex via the phone, then not phone sex...

I'll took OP's question seriously, poked around the web, and got a bit of a surprise. (Source:http://www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/genitalherpes.htm)

If OP's husband has oral herpes (most people in the USA do, probably a large fraction worldwide) and has active sores, and he's using his saliva as a lubricant, it seems he could develop genital herpes. In a similar way, one should not allow contact lenses to come into contact with saliva -- herpes infections in the eyes can be very dangerous.

As for oral - genital self transmission -- I wouldn't have thought it possible but apparently it isn't impossible.

Now, can't rule out that OP's husband isn't looking for cover and an alibi -- she knows his character and we don't. OP's husband raises an interesting concern, though. I guess the answer is to avoid saliva and avoid the path of self-transmission.

How that isn't "too much information"!

Did you know that if you bite your nails while having active oral herpes you can also spread it to your fingers in the form of herpetic whitlow?

Maybe you can start learning the art of underpants hats to prevent genocide of the imagination??

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
