Still waiting we filed December 2014.

We came through a border crossing last week from Canada and used the AP. The Immigration Office said 'truthfully' getting the Green Card in the Mail is now taking 1.5 years not a 'few months'.

It is actually a big hassle for it to take so long I am finding out. You have to renew the Drivers License every year you get the EAD, no Life Insurance can be got as they need the Green Card as proof of residence, no bank loans for the same reason..LOL

Terrible!

that varies greatly with the type of AOS. most people get their approval a few days after the interview, and get the green card in the mail a week after getting the aproval.

I'm still waiting too, my case is being processed in the Long Island office and I feel its taking forever, and I am about to take a position in Chicago, I'm now thinking If I move my processing their does it then mean I start the wait all over again. NY really need more offices to deal with the load that they experience. Some other states have finished cases for people who filed in February and March.

Thank you, hun. I received 2 emails very early today, and yes my status changed online as well. I don't understand how they process applications, because I would think you'd have an interview before me (since u applied in dec).

Our AOS date for submission was December 10th and we got the resident card approved Aug 26th. However, since we have a waiver of interview, the application never left The National Benefits Center in Lee Summit MO.

I only just found this thread!! We are adjusting from K1 and applied in November 2014. We received two emails this morning telling us that our interview date has finally been set for October 2015. Agreed... Waiting time is beyond ridiculous! Our status has been ready for interview since January. I notice they updated the processing date on the uscis website to November 24th too. Were we the last in that batch or are there people waiting longer than us?

Hello all! I am an NYC filer as of July 2015. Today marks day 54 from our priority date--hoping for my husband's EAD approval soon!

I find it unbelievable that NYC is so much slower than the smaller offices. I understand that NYC receives a much more significant amount of cases, but you would think their office would have more employees/resources to still process everything in a comparable time frame. Very frustrating.

However, ending this on a positive note. Congrats to everyone who has received EAD/interviews/green cards! Our time will come, but I just wish things would speed up a bit!
