Unfortunately CSC has still not yet completed processing March, April or May petitions. Contacting them will not do any good (for one, there is no way to reach them) until the petitioner's NOA1 date is 30 days past CSC's posted processing date. The current posted processing date is February 23.

You may have a long way to go. :(

Some more than others :protest::clock::crying: .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You didn't receive an RFE because you filed with the new I-129F form - that means you did not need an RFE. This is a good thing, not a bad thing because many people waited more than 2 months just for the RFE to be created and sent to them.

Try to understand - the California Service Center where your petition was filed has not yet finished processing March or April or May petitions. This means you could be waiting for a long time more. Some of us have been waiting for more than 5 months. Try to relax and be patient. If you plan on 8 or 9 months like the lawyer said, you will be very happy if you receive your NOA2 in 4 more months instead of 6 or 7 more, right?

The problem with the theory that "your wait is not long enough to complain about" is that there is no way to know how long your wait will be. When your application goes to CSC you have to figure there is a reasonable chance that your application will perhaps take six to eight months to process. Not because you messed up the application. Not because your case is more complicated than others. Simply by virtue of the service center. That is what is hard to take.

I think it is grotesque, the waits many have endured. I hope their individual nightmare ends. But I think it is reasonable to start complaining and worrying after a couple months. Many from VSC get approval in a matter of mere weeks.

The 'not knowing' is what makes it ok to worry no matter how long or short your application wait is.

Having said that, good luck to you hope! I understand your frustration and anxiety!

Sooner or later this will be you ---->:dance::dance:

I am getting on the same crusade as Devilette. Although touches are nice, they are misleading and really offer nothing other than a false sense of hope.

Take note of my timeline. 16 touches in all. Each time, I would get excited thinking that our approval was moments away. Nope. Yes, I liked the touches, but at the end, I did not think much of them.

Every case will be processed. When is anyones guess.

OP, don't worry, you will get processed at some point. Exercise patience and your dream will come true before you know it!

Now that CSC is presumably processing by the NOA1 date... Where does that leave those stranded souls in the IMBRA RFE process? Will they be pushed further to the right? Does anyone have any thoughts about that?

Cheers!!!
