My I-129F was received by Nebraska on July 18th. On July 21st, , it was at the California service Center. On July 21st, the California Service Center was processing I-129F's dated March 5th. On August 3rd, they were processing I-129F's dated March 6th. On August 25th, (now they have posted it also for August 28th), they were processing I-129F's dated February 23rd. Why are they going backwards on their processing dates. At the rate they are going, it will take at least a year before getting to my date of July 21st.

How accurate do you think these dates are? I noticed that they are moving backwards as well. It will take us 2 weeks to get a fiance visa if I moved to the UK, what the hell is the hold-up? This is a sick & twisted joke someone is playing on us toying with our lives like this.

I hear ya! It would take me showing up the local police office in Morocco to get residency status... suddenly that is starting to seem more and more appealing.............

timeline doesn't matter.

Touches mean nothing. There are zillions of people still waiting from March. This is all tied to their IMBRA ####-up and the transferring of petitions from other service centers. They moved the dates backwards to reflect that oldest petition still unprocessed and to cover their azzes.

Sit back, relax and try not to become an alcoholic (easier said then done).

Hi all,

I noticed the same thing that you are talking about with the CSC going back from March 6th to Feb. 23rd. However, in my case, it did not mean very much. My NOA1 date was May 15th so according to that schedule, on 8/23/06 I should be expecting my NOA2 approval some time by mid November of 2006.

However, I got mine approved on 8/28 along with a couple other people in CSC. And it took 105 days including IMBRA RFE and another extra RFE.

So it might be better than it appears. I hope this helps somehow.

Tony

Hi all,

I just went back and did a check on our timeline database picking out only entries being processed through CSC and sorted by NOA1 dates. Looking down a couple of hundred entries, I found that there have been many petitions with NOA1 dates in the month of May that have been receiving NOA2 approvals since late July through now.

So I guess it appears that they are processing May petitions and some June ones in late July through August. That's actually very hopeful.
