My daughter-in-law is from the Philippines. She went over to visit her mom in March 2005. She came back and gave me Alona's email address. Alona and I started emailing each other every day, (except on week-ends, when she isn't at work). After 6 months of emails and phone calls on the week-ends, I decided it was time for me to go over to the Philippines and meet her. I ended up staying for 3 months. I came back in March of 2006. I left a laptop over there for her to email me, and we have been sending emails to each other every day. We also send 2 text messages every day. I was caling her every week-end and then we both got microphones for our computers, so now we talk through the computers instead of cell phones.
I am planning to go back over to the Philippines to be with her through the Holidays. I leave on November 3rd and plan on coming back the last part of April. Hopefully my petition will be approved and then I am planning to go back over and help her through her interview process.
