65 in Virginia today. Very windy. We have been below normal on temperature most of the winter, so this feels real nice. More cold to come soon, I know.

65 is below normal there? I would pay for 65 now! This is the worst winter in terms of temperatures and snow that I can remember in a very long time!

GM Folks was a busy weekend. Picked up the furniture, had 8" of snow in the Poconos, locked my keys in the car had to wait for roadside assistance..thank God for insurance.

Hope everyone is having a great time with their loved ones...and for those still waiting your time will come.

Good luck to Heather & Bob G on their upcoming interview.

Debby have a happy reunion with Seyi.

IS should be back this week so more action on the forum.

GM, LD! What a weekend you had...good thing you had roadside assistance!

We got snow too here in Oceanside, but only 4 inches. That's like nothing compared to what we got in January! I was really hoping that the bitter cold temperatures would be behind us by the time Seyi got here, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. I went to Macy's over the weekend (all the Presidents Day sales were in full swing!) and bought Seyi a warm Northface down winter jacket, a hat, warm gloves and a cashmere scarf - all 60% off! Woohoo! Now, he'll be nice & warm no matter what the weather brings!

Our normal high temperature for this time of year is about 49. We were below normal almost everyday for 2 months. With our high elevation, it gets very cold at night, which makes it nice in the summer months, no need for night time AC.

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC
