Newbie poster here. But I've been watching this thread since the fist of the month, since we were also transfered to CSC.

First of all, congrats Stina. Magda and I were happy to read of your approval Yesterday.

Second, we have some good new to share. We also recieved the "welcome notice" email this morning. Magda's been approved - :dance: We are delighted :yes:

The funny thing is that just yesterday, we got agreement from the local service center to request expidited processing of our AP application (Magda's sister is quite sick). We were expecting to see a email indicating approval of for that. Image the surprise when I read the first or the 10 emails saying "On September 28, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case".

Our lawyer suggests making an appointment and getting her passport stamped, if she want to go home before the green card arrives (which I think she does). The lawyer said they don't typically stamp the passports anymore (relying on the green card). But in case like this, they will and it would be a good precaution (altough I should be able to follow her in a couple of weeks, bringing the green card with me).

Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences here. It has help us more thank we can say.

Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mailman cameth and giveth me a green card :lol: I also received my welcome notice stating that I would be receiving my green card within the next 3 weeks. Is that snailmail fast or what????

Hey guys,

Just a quick question........

I received my NOA to say that they were transferring my AOS to the CSC recently. Shortly afterwards I got an e-mail saying the AOS had been received "here", it didn't actually say at the CSC in the mail, so I'm assuming that it meant the CSC?

It was from: CRIS <USCIS-SRMT@dhs.gov

but then again that was the same e-mail address that said it was SENDING it to the CSC!!

So my question is, is there a different e-mail address for mails received from the CSC?? as there is no definate evidence in the mail when it says "your I485 was received HERE".....

Still nothing on my AOS sent to CSC on the 6th, no receive notice that is. No touches since 9th Sept. :o

My daughter's case, however, was transferred on the 26th and I already have the email receive notice from CSC, got it yesterday, strangely enough. :blink:

It's probably just a symptom of the multiple-email-itis that CRIS seems to suffer from.

Jeez, I really hope you guys get something this week. This is just getting rediculous!

Stina, I hope the typo wasn't a serious one. My card came the day after the welcome notice so keep your fingers crossed! :luv:
