Passport Pages

I know it says to copy all the pages in the passport, but what if your passport has only been used once and the majority of the pages are blank? Do I still need to copy all of them or can I only copy a couple of blank ones and notate on the final copy that the rest of them are blank due to non-use?

I may be wrong but i only copy the front info page and all port entry pages, showing the stamps exit and entry !!

I agree with joyjohn, i did exactly the same, i am almost 4 months now and no rfe yet, i am knocking on wood as i type this.......

I agree: I also only copied the relevant stamps and the info page: what's the point in showing blank pages?

Just to be on the safe side, make copies of all pages. That's what my husband did when he submitted the paperwork to USCIS. We didn't have RFE.

I was under the impression one should copy ALL the pages, starting with the photo page, and ending with the back cover, even all the blank ones!

I think the key point here is showing exit as well as entry, via the relevant stamps.

If you are using the US passport as proof of citizenship (for example in the case of naturalization through parents) you will need ALL PAGES copied to show where you have been, or not been... if you do not include a page they will RFE you since you could be hiding a trip to Cuba or some such wild thing from your past LOL!

If you are trying to show that you have visited your fiancee in the past 2 years by passport stamps, just those pages will provide proof, however I would copy every page so the Gov't knows you are not trying to hide something on the 'not' included pages.

Like Kim said for proof of citizenship all pages must be copied. What I did is Scan all of the pages then fit 4 passport pages on one page to cut down on paper.

If you're using it for evidence of relationship (seeing each other) you only need to copy the pages with the visa stamp.

Correct. For proof of citizenship they want copies of every page, including the covers, for the same reason they want copies of both sides of your birth certificate, even if the back side is blank. It shows you have the actual complete document in your possession.

Lol we just copied everything in color even if a lot of pages were blank.. didn't even think to just pick the ones with stamps..

PS. We were using it to prove citizenship! His mom lost his BC

Exactly! it depends on what you are using the copy of the passport for...I copied every page on mine for citizenship. I did send a copy of my birth certificate too, but I didnt know if they would take it since it was a plastic card...that is why I made sure to copy every page of the passport.
