A ring on the finger is a good enough intent to marry. If you send a letter I don’t think it needs to be notarized. Overkill is good, but depends on the individual case, if your case is weak go wild. I did not see anything on any USCIS documentation requesting intent to marry letters, unless I missed it.

Lol.. this process will make you question your sanity at least once a week. Most survive though :) Rule number one is check everything you send, then check the checklist agains what they want, then check what you are sending again. Make copies of it all, so that you can fret over it, and reread it a dozen times before your check is cashed :)

Build your padded room now, you will need it soon

All jokes aside, good luck with your visa process!!!

Invictus..

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I thank whatever gods may be

For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

And yet the menace of the years

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

How charged with punishments the scroll.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul.

When you submit your K-1 yes you need to show proof of meeting in the last 2yrs correct. However you need also to show proof of the ongoing relationship as well when sending the pkt like pics, chat logs, boarding passes, hotel receipts etc....boarding passes and passport stamps can also be the proof of having met in the last two years.

This is misleading. You aren't required to send proof of an ongoing relationship with the petition package. USCIS doesn't require this. They only require that you prove you've met face-to-face in the past two years. With the exception of chat logs, everything else you listed would be considered proof of having met face-to-face.

Now, you can include evidence of an ongoing relationship, and USCIS will accept this as additional evidence if your intent to marry. Frontloading evidence of this sort with the petition may be useful if you're dealing with a particularly difficult consulate. If you choose to do this then make sure you understand what you're trying to accomplish. Frontloading the wrong evidence can actually make things much worse, and even result in the visa being denied. For example, if you frontload call records from your phone service provider as proof that you communicate then they may ask your fiancee what your phone number is. If she doesn't know, they can cite that as a reason for denying the visa.

The petitioner's Letter of Intent does not have to be Notorized but any Attourney will advise this. It shows meaningful intent is all. LIKE "I DO".

I saved my boarding passes and then read somewhere that some places don't accept them if they don't have the year printed on them. Mine don't have the year printed on them! So I saved them anyways and I made color photocopies of my passport pages with visas/exit/entry stamps. That way the dates will back each other up. I also printed out travel itineraries and phone logs to date, and plan on printing the rest as the time gets closer for our interview. Good job! And good luck to you!!
