This is a followup to http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/284913-human-development-index-by-congressional-district-graphic/ where human development index values were calculated for various congressional districts.

Go to http://measureofamerica.org/well-o-meter/ to calculate your own personal human development index. I did mine, came to 7.5. It's a short 24 question quiz. The questions can be a bit personal but they don't have to know who you are.

mine is 10. I guess it's mainly because I don't drink or smoke and I exercise regularly. I went back through and changed the drinking question to yes and the 0 packs of cigarettes to the top one and it went down to 8.17.

eta: and I changed the exercise one to 0

I'm not happy with mine. But, one of my grandparents is still alive and is 79 and she might live to 85 or longer. How am I supposed to know if she will. I said no. And I can't believe I had to click between age 30-40.

Also, because I made no $ in 2007, since I was a stay at home wife, it affected it even worse. I went in and put a pretend low salary amount and it raised it up.

The only thing that is not fully truthful in mine at the moment is that I picked I exercise 2-3 times a week. Well, some weeks I do, some I don't. I did until Thanksgiving.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
