New fees for AOS package: anyone know how much?

Just wondering if anyone knows that the new fee will be to file the COMBINED documents for the AOS package (I-485, I-765 and I-131). Presently, it's $1010 to file all three concurrently. But with the fee increase tomorrow, I'm not sure what to expect when we file next month. Are they doing away with the reduced price for concurrent filing?

Where is it stated that their is a concurrent filing rate? Just curious as I have never seen it.

Nevermind, found it as I submitted that. I can't imagine it will change. I don't think it is specifically a "combined" fee, so much as it is that you are allowed to submit the other two forms with the I-485. The 1010 is the 930 for the form, plus 80 for biometrics.

The question is, is biometrics increasing at all?

Biometrics will be 85 (from 80), with a grand total of 1070.

Could someone point us in the direction of information that states concurrent filing results in a waiver of the fees for I-765 and I-131?

Answered my own questions again.... Here it is... from USCIS form information page:

If you filed a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, on July 30, 2007, or after, and you paid the I-485 application fee required, then no fee is required to file a request for employment authorization on Form I-765. You may file the I-765 concurrently with your I-485, or you may submit the I-765 at a later date. If you file Form I-765 separately, you must also submit a copy of your Form I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of the filing of an I-485.

If you are filing for an extension of your Employment Authorization and your Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence, was filed before July 30, 2007, then you must pay the $340 filing fee.

You may be eligible to file this form electronically. Please see the related link "Introduction to Electronic Filing" for more information

----

Note, I cannot find the same info for I-131. This applies for widowers filing I-131, but doesn't state on the form anything about a waiver for the fees if filing concurrently.

the instructions form I-485 itself: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3faf2c1a6855d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD specifically here:

"Special Instructions : There is no fee if an applicant is filing as a refugee under section 209(a) of the INA.

Please note that, if you file Form I-485 to adjust your status as a permanent resident on or after July 30, 2007, no additional fee is required to also file an application for employment authorization on Form I-765 and/or advance parole on Form I-131."

The new fee is $1070 for AOS found here: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=5be73dc5cb93b210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=8a2f6d26d17df110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD

** moved from "IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures" to "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" as this isn't about CR-1 but an AOS qn **

Sheesh. I just sent the AOS today. Anybody know whether they are going by the postmark date? I had no idea about this change and of course paid the $1010.

that's what everyone keeps saying. You're in the clear.
