i think up till you it's been all IR1/CR1/K-3

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

This is a dumb question, but what does "touched" mean? How do you know if your application was touched? Sorry, I'm new to the forum!

if anyone else except me has called USCIS and tried to get info on this transfer, they are more than welcome to share their experience. Asking and getting correct info is lot better than guessing and hoping.

just waiting for my "I-797 in the mail" so i can "follow their instructions" (that's only info i have, i dont know what "instructions" the I-797 would have other than an approval)

i'm thinking the "touch" is received in texas since we all seem to have it.

notice of transfer (various dates though i dont know how wide the date range is) and then a touch 2 days after the original email.

Created a spreadsheet for you guys: https://spreadsheets...9UTnY4dWc&hl=en

Included the person's name, type of visa, country of beneficiary, NOA1 date, and date of transfer.

Taken from people who posted in this thread. I'm sure there's others out there that got transferred, but I don't feel like hunting them down on other threads. *lazy*

I'll continue to add names and edit the spreadsheet as more people post.

Analyze away! :D

Hello! i am new to this forum and i am glad to see everyone is on the same path as me. USCIS received our I-130 on July 10 and that was the date in the NOA. Decided to check my case status today and lo and behold it was updated saying i was transferred to Texas, but mine was for November 1st 2010. i see some of you touched two times and i am quite worried because i have only been have the one date and its already the 5th. i hope they didn't lose mine.

This is GREAT...thank you.......I do see one trend here....I don't think it has anything to do with what country you are from....I think California are backlogged and they have thrown some July's and Augusts over to Texas and we should all get our appointmets for our visa's any day now and then approvals and we will be FINALLY with our loved ones forever....that is what will happen :thumbs:

just clarifying that you know you wont get email on a "touch"... you will see that on the website; the date will change under "last updated".
