I have a question ...

After filing the 130 .. do we have to wait first for the approval before filing the affidavit of support and application?? like the ds230?

07/21/2010 - NOA1

02/07/2011 - NOA2 approved! 201 days since NOA1!!!

02/14/2011 - NOA2 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

NVC:

02/15/2011 - NVC case number assigned

02/16/2011 - emailed ds3032 to nvc

02/17/2011 - gave both our email address.

02/18/2011 - DS3032 accepted.

03/15/2011 - AOS & IV paid. both "IN PROCESS"

03/16/2011 - AOS & IV show's "PAID"

03/24/2011 - Mailed AOS & IV pack to nvc

04/13/19/2011 - received an RFE email from NVC about my ds-230 and AOS form =/

04/22/2011 - (ds230 & Aos)Checklist sent to nvc

Yes. you have to wait for the petition to be approved before you progress.

However theres nothing to stop you having forms and documentation ready :thumbs:

Well I got the email last night...

On November 2, 2010, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action

Hoepfully this will be good news and they will approve loads of application.

I also just got the text and email today (Nov 4) saying that our case had been transferred. Our NOA1 date is Aug 24. Hopefully I'll know more about what this means when I receive the notice in the mail, but hopefully this is a good thing for all of us!

08.03.2010: Sent I-130 (Received at Chicago Lockbox on 08.05.2010 – Priority Date)
08.24.2010: NOA1 – Notice Date (Case transferred from CSC to TSC on 11.02.2010 and back to CSC on 02.07.2011)
02.11.2011: NOA2 – Approved! (hard copy received on 02.17.2011)

NVC – 46 days
02.26.2011: Got NVC case number from AVR (entered on 02.24.2011)
02.28.2011: Called operator to give email addresses and get IIN; emailed beneficiary's change of address and DS-3032; received instruction emails from NVC; AOS fee bill invoiced and paid
03.01.2011: AOS fee shown as "paid"
03.03.2011: DS-3032 accepted; beneficiary's address updated by NVC; IV fee bill invoiced and paid

THREAD Hijacker!!! lol...I only wanna know about transfers...lol I got a feeling some ppl got email notification and some got snail mail.

Out of the CSC group for July ...so far 14 out of 33 have been transferred to Texas. crazy.

I got the same news yesterday. My I-130 was received on 7/24/10 in CA and it was transferred to TX on 11/2. Fingers crossed this is a good sign for all of us waiting!!!

This notice reads entirely differently than the other notices mentioned in this thread. Here's the text from one of the four I've seen in the last two days. Compare and see. Pay special attention to the status remaining "Initial Review". Further, the Texas Service Center is in Mesquite, TX. Irving is a local office.

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On November 2, 2010, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Thank you Thank You Thank you for clarifying that because when i was browsing the posts my heart fell into tummy and i wouldnt even have noticed the different addresses because at no time did i ever expect for the TSC to be part of our journey so didnt even know where they were!

i'm sure you know the emotional rollercoaster this process makes you ride, every little thing lifts you up or throws you down, so i appreciate you taking time to ease our minds!

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Now the question arises that can we contact California senator to get help in case we are out of time frame and case is transfered from CA to TX.

I think USCIS should post steps to file IR-1/CR-1 visa on their website like

(1) file I-130

(2) Get ready to be mental paranoid for 5 months

(3) Contact senator and bag him help

(4) Wait another month to transfer to NVC

(5) work with US consulate abroad

If you miss any of these, you will not be granted IR-1/CR-1 visa

Former CSC filer now TSC. Priority date August 5, and change of service center date November 2. You all make me feel so much better to know we're not alone. I'd like to ask the moderators to make a TSC cr1/ir1 list for igor's list. I'll watch this thread and keep you all updated as well! Also I was wondering if anyone noticed any trends? Is it just June, July, August filers? Are we all USC are there any LPR? Do our spouses come from specific countries...?

I can't find a common trend can anyone else?
